Websites for Newborn Care

  1. KellyMom is a great site that has tons of information about breastfeeding and postpartum concerns such as depression and getting you baby to sleep through the night.
  2. BabyCentre is a website out of the United Kingdom and it provides lots of good basic information about newborn care.

Websites for Well-Woman Care

  1. Our Bodies Ourselves is that classic book from 1972 that challenged the way the (mostly male) gynecologists related to their women patients. Women were empowered to learn about their bodies and take charge of their health.  They publish an update every 4 years.
  2. The U.S. Government has a good site to tell you which screening tests (such as a pap smear and mammogram) are indicated based on your age and risk factors.
